Flight Simulator
AASF is proud to announce the procurement of the first simulator in Pune. In an effort to truly bring ‘flying for all’ into reality, AASF is about to launch the pilot project of a mobile flight simulator, the PET-I! This simulator will be launched on the 15th of August to be followed by two advanced simulators, to be installed on April 26 next year.
High fidelity simulation is the key to good training. Simulated training results in higher safety management and is one way to create the effect of actually flying, and perfect one’s craft! From engine start-up, run-up, taxiing, take off, flight procedures and shutdown, our simulator is designed to mimic precise performance and handling characteristics of an actual aircraft, without the risk.
PET-I allows the ‘pilot’ to be seated in a make-believe cockpit with a screen simulating visual effects he would face in a real aircraft, without being airborne and certainly without risking his life.
PET-I will offer the feel and thrill of flying to one and all at affordable prices minus the risks. The Institute will teach people the functioning of an aircraft as well as life-saving techniques to be used in case of storms and other emergencies.
