Vision

AASF wants to move ahead and form a permanent legacy. This institute has been conceived as a live memorial and homage to all those aviators, whose heroism in the face of extreme odds will inspire generations to come. This way, it will contribute substantially to the task of guiding today’s youth to build tomorrow’s India.

With this vision, AASF has been registered as a trust on December 13,  2005 and is aiming to establish an inspirational memorial institute named Jeet Aerospace. Eminent personalities like Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, DG-CSIR, Mr. Kumar Ketkar, Executive Editor, Maharashtra Times and Dr. Deepak Kulkarni from Pune, along with members of the Gadgil family are on the board of trustees.

The proposed institute will offer exposure to all aspects of aviation and aviation related fields, be it military, civil or recreational. The focus will initially be on education through entertainment and this will be achieved through the innovative use of flight simulation and static, as well as working models of air crafts.

Our vision includes seeking concrete support, guidance and involvement of a large number of like-minded people, who have the expertise, the time and the energy to devote and, as and when  possible, the requisite funds to support this national cause.
